My Boy, the Revolutionary Sweetheart

I posted earlier that my son was a beast. He is.

However, he's been showing his thoughtful, sweet side lately.

His least favorite part of taking a bath is getting his hair washed. I use a plastic cup to rinse his hair; of course, he leans forward and the water and shampoo go in his eyes. Hates that. I've resorted to holding a toy in my teeth to get him to keep his head back.

Last night, he takes the cup and starts pouring water over this Little Mermaid bath toy of his sister's. He was a little rough with her, but he also gave her lots of hugs. When I got him out, he insisted the Little Mermaid come with him. He wrapped her up in his towel and hugged her.

I don't wish my son to be over sensitive, but I really, really don't want him to be a bully. The pulling hair and pushing is still going on, but it seems tempered lately with more caring and gentle actions.
